Help get us on the road

We are in the process of building support to turn the Natural Histories Project into a traveling museum exhibit that will partner with institutions around the country to celebrate natural history and connect people to local and nationally recognized naturalists through linked events and presentations at each location. Help us make this happen by getting your local Natural History Museum to sign on, or let us know how you can help. Please contact Kirsten Rowell at the Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture to find out how you can help.

Join the Natural History Network

The Natural History Initiative has a powerful bond with the Natural History Network, a member organization dedicated to promoting the value of natural history by discussing and disseminating ideas and techniques on its successful practice to educators, scientists, artists, writers, the media, and the public at large. The Natural History Network is a 501c3 non-profit group populated by people who are passionate about the importance of natural history and natural history education in the development of healthy people, vibrant human communities, and integrated learning institutions. Many of the voices you have heard on this website are members, board members, and supporters of the Natural History Network. We encourage individuals and institutions to join the Natural History Network and help this movement grow.
